This year the fabulous Taste of Auckland gourmet festival is back and it’s promising to be bigger and better than ever. Naturally as the Official Vehicle partner to the event BMW will be there with brand ambassador, New Zealand’s leading chef and restauranteur, Josh Emett. A star of the event last year Josh will once again be running his very popular cooking demonstrations supported by the BMW team.
As a man of consummate good taste himself, Josh has long been a passionate BMW driver. He currently drives a BMW X3 when he’s at home in Queenstown and loves the X3 for the superb versatility it offers his incredibly varied lifestyle. He can experience pure driving pleasure on the wide-open Central Otago roads in summer, confidently navigate snow covered alpine passes in winter and effortlessly accommodate loads of fresh ingredients bound for his highly acclaimed restaurant Rata in Queenstown.
If you haven’t already experienced Taste of Auckland it’s a weekend not to be missed. For starters there are over 120 handpicked artisan food, wine and beer makers, accompanied by boutique growers showing off local delicacies. There’s a marquee devoted to specialty wine and cheese, and master-classes for whisky aficionados. Taste of Auckland is conveniently located at Victoria Park in central Auckland and runs from 14 to 17 November.
