Channelling the adrenalin-fuelled race circuits where it was developed, the M TwinPower Turbo Technology, with a seven-speed M dual clutch transmission, provides an addictive driving sensation. Specially designed for the high-rev engine, the innovative double clutch allows for ultra fast gear changes and sublime acceleration.
M TwinPower Turbo Technology is shared by the BMW M4 GTS. Developed and tuned on the renowned Nurburgring, one of the longest and most challenging racetracks in the world, the M4 GTS is a new milestone.
Pioneering an innovative water injection system first trialed on the MotoGP Safety Car, the three-litre engine delivers an impressive 500kw. By lowering combustion temperatures, this new water cooling system enables more fuel efficiency, torque and acceleration that truly belongs on the tarmac, 0 to 100km/h in 3.8 seconds.
The rear lights of the M4 GTS marks another notable development, created with advanced OLED technology, known as BMW Organic Light. They’re thinner than any other taillights to date, without compromising brightness, helping maintain the race-worthy vehicles power to weight ratio.
But beyond the exceptional innovations of each model, there’s a larger picture here. The BMW M2 Coupé and the BMW M4 GT are reminders that you never need to settle.
