BMW TAKES TO THE TRACK.

BMW returns to the race track in New Zealand with a brand new GT3 racer based on the BMW M6 Coupé. Four-time Bathurst winner Steven Richards is heading up the team, and you can be sure he’s not there just to make up the numbers.

New Zealand will play host to the final two rounds of The 2016 CAMS Australian Endurance Championship (AEC). The Hampton Downs round of the AEC will be the largest motorsport event ever held in this country, and the Highlands Motorsport Park event will feature the Australian GT Championship finale with up to 30 GT cars and their drivers completing their season at Highlands’ spectacular Central Otago location.

The Australian GTs will headline the Hampton Downs 101, which is also the official re-opening of the extended track over the weekend of 28-30 October 2016. The AGT feature race on the Sunday will see a field of up to 42 cars complete over 101 laps of the new 4km international track in what will be an entertainment spectacle and the official unveiling of Australasia’s premier motorsport and entertainment facility.
